The Roman Colosseum, also knows as the Flavian Amphitheater, is one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. The Colosseum is the largest Roman amphitheater, with an elliptical structure of 188 meters long, 156 meters wide and 57 meters high. Made in brick and covered with travertine was divided into five levels with a capacity for more than 50,000 people. There are various ticket options with or without a tour guide. On the official website main page, click on "Buy Ticket", then again on "Buy Ticket" for the desired ticket option and finally on "Buy Ticket" and then select the desired time slot. With the entrance to the Roman Colosseum you can also enter the Palatine and Roman Forum and the ticket is valid for 2 days from the first use.

You will be redirected to the bottom of the page, where the available dates and time slots are shown in a calendar. Please book at least one week in advance as the number of visitors is limited. The price is 18€ for regular admission including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill. The price is reduced for European citizens. With the ticket, you don't have to queue to buy it at the entrance, but you still need to pass security.
